Milestones Children’s Centre is committed to providing quality care and learning experiences for children in a safe environment.  Our programs enrich the emotional, social, physical and intellectual growth of each child.

2016-2020 Strategic Plan

This plan is a combination of input from families, Milestones Children’s Centre employees, the Milestones Children’s Centre Board of Directors and our community partners.  Thank you to everyone for helping to guide the direction of this organization in a way that supports families, our valued employees but mostly the children of our community. 2016-2020 Strategic Plan


Milestones Children’s Centre is a charitable, non-profit organization licensed by the Ministry of Education and governed by a Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers who may be parents of registered children or interested members of the community. The Board of Directors meet on a monthly basis to review items related to the ongoing operation of the Children's Centre and School Age Programs.

Milestones Children’s Centre participates in the Workplace Wellness Program through St. Thomas Elgin Public Health and have won many awards for workplace wellness initiatives.


Employee Growth and Development Committee

The Employee Growth and Development Committee is made up of employees and is voluntary.

The Employee Growth and Development Committee’s goals are to:

  • foster the growth and development of the children by supplementing various activities and toys throughout the year
  • support children in the community by contributing to charities
  • support the growth of employees by supplementing professional development opportunities
  • foster the relationship between MCC and the families
  • to promote parent involvement and networking through social/educational events

The committee organizes fundraisers throughout the year with proceeds going towards the above goals.
